pls let me know the correct way of installing RS2005
i have ISS running with my application running on it. i am not able to install rs 2005 now.
should i remove my application, clean the ISS , install rs 2005 and later my application or what ? or should the ISS be stopped before installing , if so how to stop or disconnect the ISS from running....
pls help me out
What I suggest you :
- Uninstall IIS and Asp.Net Components (v1.1 and v2)
- Restart
- Install IIS and Asp.Net through the Server Management Wizard
- Install SQL 2005

|||What are the errors when you install RS2005? The setup wizard should tell you.
To stop IIS, run "iisreset /stop".
