Error with expoting to Excel

I got the following error when exporting a report to Excel
Reporting Services Error

Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Amila IndikaI got the same error.
I have a table in report body and grouped by, say, ColA.
In the page footer, a textbox refererences ColA by
First(ReportItems!ColA.Value).
When I export the report in PDF format, it works fine, but I got the error
when exporting to EXCEL format.
Any solution? Thanks

Error while exporting to Excel SP2

All of my reports work fine, while trying to export them to excel. But I'm
not able to render one Report to Excel. The Report contains some Lists and
the visibility depends on some(9) parameters. The rendering works fine with
all other Rendering-Formats. It seems that the Reporting Service (thread)
aborts and restart again. Is it possible that the Service quits because of
the Memory Limit (160 MB)? In the IIS I have created a seperate AppPool for
the Server and the Web-Service.
Because other services running on the Server, I put the memory limit for the
AppPool to 250 MB.
This is the Error while processing the Report via Report-Manager and/or
Web-Service:
Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object
rrRenderingError 400
Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportRendering.ReportRenderingExceptionI had the same problem until I installed RS SP2 on my workstation
which is where I was actually receiving the error (Visual Studio 200
Report Designer, Layout view). Now it works great

Error While Exporting to Excel

Hi Group,
When i tried to export my report to excel it throws me this error
Error: Index was out of range.Must be non-negative and less than the size of
the collection.Parameter name:index.
My Report contains subreport in one column.I Placed my subreport in
rectangle tool
and placed the rectangle in the table cell.
can any only help me how to resolve this error. In excel renderer, subreport and data regions inside table / matrix cells
are not supported.
Anyway, you should be able to render the report with a nice error message in
place of subreport. Could you send us the report, please?

In my Previous Discussion with CHRIS HAYS he Said
Subreports are not currently supported inside tables/matrixes in the Excel
renderer.
You could either convert your table to nested lists (this approach won't
work for matrix) or you could place the contents of your subreport into a
rectangle in the table/matrix cell. Note: This second approach involves
rewriting your query to join the main query data with the subreport query
data.
Now My Problem is I am not able to render the report to xls.But i have
another report with same concept and able to render to xls and values are
displaing in subreport column. But the other report what i was taking is
giving this error
Error: Index was out of range.Must be non-negative and less than the size of
the collection.Parameter name:index. And report is not rendering.
So how do i send the report to you.

I have come across this issue when I have not had data on my subreport
before. Have you tried returning an empty row to the main report (from
the subreport) yet?
